The terms-of-service reality: Mailchimp's Terms explicitly prohibit purchased, rented or scraped lists — importing one risks immediate account suspension. Brevo, ConvertKit, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign and HubSpot Marketing all have equivalent rules. This isn't about data quality; marketing ESPs are opt-in infrastructure and their spam-rate tolerances are built around subscribed audiences.
