How is this different from the "top brokerages" lists elsewhere?

Those are surveys or self-reported sales volume. This one is a count: we read the brokerages' own agent directories every week or two and rank offices by how many agents are actually listed. It measures size, not sales, and it is re-measured the same way every scan.
