Privacy & Opt-out

This policy explains what information AgentRoster holds, why, and how anyone — including a real estate professional listed in our database — can have their information removed.

Are you an agent who wants to be removed? Email privacy@agentroster.ca from, or quoting, the email address you want removed. We will suppress it within 10 business days and prevent it from being re-added. See "Your opt-out rights" below.

1. Information we hold

For real estate professionals, we hold business contact information collected from publicly accessible sources (such as brokerage and franchise websites and directories): name, brokerage, business email address, business phone number, market area/region, and links to public professional profiles or websites. We do not knowingly collect government identifiers, financial information, or sensitive personal information.

For customers, we collect the email address and payment confirmation provided through our payment processor (Stripe) in order to deliver your purchase and provide receipts and support.

2. Why we hold it (purpose & basis)

We compile this business contact information to provide business-to-business sales-lead lists. The information relates to individuals in their professional, business capacity. Under PIPEDA, the consent requirements do not apply to an individual's name, title, business address, business email, and business telephone number that are collected, used, or disclosed solely to communicate with that individual in relation to their employment, business, or profession (the "business contact information" provision).

3. How the information is shared

We provide purchased lists to paying customers under terms that prohibit resale, republication, and unlawful use. We do not sell or share customer (buyer) personal information for marketing. We use service providers — including Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery) — strictly to operate the Service.

4. Your opt-out rights

Any individual may, at any time, ask us to access, correct, or remove their information. To opt out and be removed from the database:

Email privacy@agentroster.ca with the name and/or email address to remove.
We will remove the record within 10 business days and add it to a suppression list so it is not collected again.
Note: we cannot recall lists already delivered to customers before your request, but removal stops further distribution.

5. Retention & security

We keep business contact data only as long as it remains useful for the Service and remove or refresh stale records. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information (which is business contact information).

6. Cookies & analytics

The site is intentionally lightweight. We do not use advertising trackers. Our payment processor may set cookies necessary to complete checkout.
