We check this: any number shared by more than three agents at the same brokerage is a switchboard and we remove it rather than pass it off as a direct line — that removed 17,676 numbers from our own data. 2,933 of the 3,351 agents in Vancouver have one that survived. Filtering to those costs 25% more per contact, because a record you can actually phone is worth more than one you cannot.
